Boat wash station opening
The boat wash station at Missisquoi-Nord Park (37, rue des Pins Sud, Eastman) is now open for the 2025 season.
Why wash your boat and equipment?
To prevent contamination of water bodies by invasive exotic species (IAS) such as Eurasian water milfoil and zebra mussels.
Did you know that a single fragment of an invasive exotic species can be enough to form a new colony? Once established, it can no longer be eradicated, and controlling its proliferation is very expensive!
Boat washing is an effective method of preventing contamination. And it's free!
