* In recent years, the Municipality of Bolton-Est has grown at a faster pace. It's also worth noting that Bolton-Est's population doubles in the summer and on weekends, due to the large number of second-home owners.
A stopover on the Chemin des Cantons, the Municipality of Bolton-Est is accessible from the north via Route 245 (Missisquoi Road to Bolton-Est), from Exit 106 of the Eastern Townships Autoroute (10), or via Route 112 to Eastman.
From the south, access is via Route 243, between the Town of Brome Lake (Knowlton) and the U.S. border.
Bolton-Est is 110 km from Montreal and 60 km from Sherbrooke.
