Repair Café

August 9, 2025 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Terrio Park

The Bricole Café is a community repair workshop where passionate volunteers help visitors diagnose and fix broken items on-site. It’s a space for learning, sharing, and friendly exchange, where anyone can observe, ask questions, and even learn how to repair.

Accepted Items:

  • Small appliances (toasters, kettles, etc.)
  • Lamps, trinkets, toys, chairs
  • Bicycles, small engines (lawnmowers, trimmers)
  • Items made of wood, metal, plastic, ceramic
  • If unsure, bring your item with all its parts.

Additional Services:

  • Sharpening of knives, scissors, and garden tools (max. 5 per person)
  • Bookbinding repairs (minor repairs, occasionally offered)

How It Works:

  • Repairs are done only in the presence of the owner.
  • No items can be left behind.
  • Replacement parts must be provided by the owner.
  • Order of service is based on available skills, not just arrival time.
