Inside view of the Bolton Center School, located on the main floor of the Town Hall, built in 1867. The school was closed in the early 1950’s when students were sent by bus to larger villages.

It was formerly Mr. Orrin Rexford’s home purchased in 1870 by John McMannis and moved here. It is one of the oldest houses in South Bolton. The Post Office operated by Henry G. Lane was located here from 1903 to 1947.
