12 The Holland Farm, with Edith Holland and John Cameron (photo 1909) The 215 acre Holland Farm, one of the oldest in South Bolton, was built on East River Road around 1817 by John Holland, son of the first settler Richard Holland Sr. He lived there with his wife Clementine Dyer of Sutton. The second occupants were Isaiah Holland (1833-1922) and his wife Rachel Davis (1856-1897) and their only child Edith Holland (1884-1972) who married John M. Cameron in 1909 and lived there until her death. The current owner is Margaret Cameron Bloomfield, wife of A. Percy Bloomfield and descendant of the settler.
